Who is this for?
This service is for high school and college students that struggle with executive function skills (time management, prioritizing, planning, task initiation, goal setting, working memory, organization, emotional regulation).
Why might this be beneficial?
Those who struggle EFS don’t WANT to have these challenges! They are NOT lazy. It is just the way their brains work. Partnering with someone that has experience/knowledge about how to create change in their daily lives can help alleviate that feeling of overwhelm that so many people live with each day. Often times, it is also easier to work with someone other than your parents when facing these challenges.
**Buy-in is essential for this to work. If a parent signs their kid up, but the client isn’t really into it and/or won’t commit to actually implementing/trying the techniques suggested, it becomes more of a check-in and reset each week rather than a program that will create habits and long-lasting change.
