Michelle has spent her career helping people achieve their goals and find fulfillment in their lives. She is passionate about making an impact and helping others find success and joy. Michelle has extensive experience as an educator, a life coach, an executive function coach, an accountability coach, a mindfulness practitioner, and a social emotional learning specialist. She is also the mom to boy/girl twins.

As a SEL specialist,  Michelle excels on stage, enlightening students about the science behind resiliency and growth mindset to enhance their understanding of social and emotional well-being.  Michelle works in schools and community organizations providing training and professional development for teachers on how to integrate SEL programs into their practices.  This includes workshops, seminars, and ongoing support.  Michelle also provides workshops for parents and caregivers.  Collaboration among us all is crucial to ensure the integration of social emotional learning principles into every facet of students’ lives. Michelle places a strong emphasis on resilience and fostering a growth mindset in her work. Her approach is innovative, captivating, distinctive, and practical.

As an executive function coach for teens and young adults, Michelle works with individuals who struggle with organization, time management, and other executive function skills. With the proper approach, everyone has the ability to develop these skills. Michelle guides her clients as they learn how to decrease distraction, increase alertness, create opportunities of repetition supporting reinforcement (neuroplasticity), incorporate intentional brain breaks, and embrace mistakes as an opportunity to learn/grow. Michelle helps her clients to begin to overcome their challenges, find confidence in their own abilities, and achieve increased success/confidence. (Action plans are created each week.)

As a habits and happiness coach, Michelle helps individuals build positive habits and develop a mindset of happiness and gratitude. She believes that happiness is a choice, and works with her clients to help them cultivate a positive outlook on life.   During coaching sessions, there is a continuous exploration of various tools/strategies to manage anxiety/stress in the day-to-day.  Topics like mind chatter, the risk of labeling yourself (and others), the importance of acknowledging and feeling all of the emotions that bubble up, letting go of the past, etc are also discussed.  Michelle believes that each person has the power to shape their own destiny, and she works with her clients to help them to believe that too through mindset coaching and creating  measurable, attainable, realistic action plans for achieving their goals/dreams.

In all of her work, she helps individuals cultivate mindfulness and awareness in their daily lives. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for reducing stress and improving well-being, and Michelle believes strongly in the power of integrating mindfulness practices into everyone’s daily routine.
